Gary Socola - Lives in
West Bloomfield with his wife and children. Gary is a life member of
NYB, Gary is our current President, and the North American Hunting Club and is an Endowment member of
the NRA. Gary has served as a county rep. for NYB and is currently
Vice President. Gary pursues small and large game with bow and arrow
and has hunted in NY, PA, ME, IA, MS, TX, UT, IL, KY, New Foundland
and Quebec. Gary currently practices QDM (Quality Deer Management) on
over 400 acres of property in Yates and Steuben counties. You can
contact Gary about QDM, property management, out of state hunting or
any other bowhunting related topic.
Carmine Marranzino I live
in Yonkers but have a small slice of paradise in Hancock, NY
Delaware county. and have been hunting for six years. I am a life
member of NYB NAHC, NWTF, SCI and others. I have hunted in New
York, PA, NJ, CT, Tennessee with Team Fitzgerald, and Africa. I
hope to hunt out West and Canada soon. I am 29 years old and love
to promote hunting. Any good hunting stories or if anyone
especially youngsters needs a place to hunt contact me.
Todd Yerks - From Dutchess
County, Todd is a master Bowhunter Instructor and County Coordinator.
A member since 1993, Todd also runs a small archery shop that does
personal setup's. Primarily hunting interest is in Whitetails but
ventures off occasionally to new challenges. Also a 3-D shooter.
Mike Jasper - I am 30
years old and work as the Athletic Facilities Coordinator at Colgate
University in Hamilton, NY
where I live with my wife and two kids. Currently, acting
secretary of the Earlville Conservation Club as well as treasurer of
the Affiliated Conservation Clubs of Madison County. Also serve as one
of two Madison County representatives to the New York State
Conservation Council. In addition to bowhunting, I love to hunt
waterfowl and upland birds.
Jim Pasco - From the Oswego area and is very active in our
events planning and coordinating.
Lea Nicholls - Mother and
Grandmother who took up archery in June of 1997,and who now shoots
weekly in leagues. Lea is also into fishing big time, North or South
if it is a fish and it will fight at the end of the line she wants to
catch it. Lea is the Genesee County co rep for NYB, NY Bowhunter
Education Instructor, Member of Avon Bowmen, Hernando County Sportsmen
[FL.]. Would like to hear from other women who are involved in
archery, bowhunting and fishing.
Tony Chirles - From Westchester County, Tony is a Life Member
of NYB. Tony is also a Regular Member of the PBS and is a NY
State Bowhunting Safety Instructor. He would like to hear
from anyone in the southeastern part of the state who is interested in
NYB, its mission and its programs

John Falce - John is from
the Kings County area, Hunts Bow, Rifle & Muzzleloader. John is a
family man raising his son John David in hopes he too will take hold
of this great sport (sounds like a future member). Being an Oil Burner
Technician John has a conflict come seasons opening, We'll try to get

Queensbury are, and one of our senior members at a young 85, with 50

David Green - From
the Chatauqua Co. area David hunts NY, PA and Illinois each year.
Works on Pope & Young quality bucks. A Venango Co. representative
for United Bowhunters of PA. Like most of us David wished our season
was longer !!
Mark Scott - Mark
lives north of Naples and is a NY State Bowhunting and Gunhunting
Safety Instructor, makes and hunts with wooden-bows and self-arrows,
enjoys hunting big game, small game, and stump shooting.
Roger M. Bressette - Roger is
the Dutchess County rep for NY Bowhunters and also a member of
Deersearch, Inc. Primary interest is deer and turkey with occasional
road trips for other game, ambition is to make it to Africa by 2002.
Also very interested in promoting the benefits of hunting and
educating the non-hunting public in regards to their misconceptions of
it.

Life Member North American Hunting Club, also serving on CNY Elk
Foundation committee, CNY banquet chairman of NWTF, helps out at NYB

Frank Giuliani - lives in Westchester Co. NY but also spends
a great deal of time in Delaware Co. NY. In addition to being a
NYB life member he is a NYS licensed Guide, NYS Bowhunter
Education Instructor, and an Official Measurer for the Pope &
Young Club.

"Sean" McSwigin - I have been a member of NYB for the
past 3 years. I have 25 years experience archery & rifle hunting.
I am a Life member of the NRA and a member of the Penn. Bowhunter
Assoc. and Ducks Unlimited. I live in Orange County, NY and have
hunted in Labrador, Quebec, NY, PA, Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota
& South Africa. I also enjoy Salt water fishing and duck hunting.
I would be more than happy to assist any members with Questions
regarding our sport or assist in making them a better bow hunter.
Jim McSwigin Father of James "Sean McSwigin", also online above. However, I'm the better looking. Benefactor Member of NRA, Life Member of NYB and UBP. Member of DU, NYSRP plus to many to list here. Presently serving on Board of Directors of NYB. Contributing writer to Full Draw and UBP. Very fortunate hunter, that has hunted all over the good old US of A, plus numerous trips to other Countries, with the Ishi Stick. White tails, Mulleys, Elk. Moose, Caribou, Bear, Antelope, Geese, Ducks and Pheasants have arrived at our table thanks to the pointy stick. As a younger man, Dahl Sheep, Stone Sheep, Mountain Goats, Elk, Moose etc. with the smoke pole. Retired after 30 years with the F.D.N.Y. and reside in "Da Bronx". My passion now is the Dark Continent with five safari's under my belt. Although I love them dearly and hunt with them regularly, I'm doing my best to spend my kids inheritance. Martin
Seeley I live in Oneida County and am currently the Region 6
Rep for NYB. I have been bow hunting since 1992 and recently
switched to traditional equipment, including making my own arrows.
I have a young son who already has a long bow, even though he is not
old enough to shoot yet. In addition to bow hunting, I enjoy
turkey hunting, rabbit hunting and also hunt with firearms
(muzzleloader, rifle and shotgun). I recently became a certified
bow instructor and will take more of an active, teaching role in our
annual youth camp held every year for Region 6. Please feel free

Marc Alberto has been an avid hunter and obsessed archer for the greater
part of his life, pursuing both large and small game in his home state of
New York as well as neighboring states Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Marc
was a NCAA Division 1 Athlete while attending Marist College and graduated
in 2006. Currently, Marc works in Dutchess county and spends his free time
outdoors hunting, fishing, backpacking, kayaking and snowboarding. Marc is
also the Editor for NYBOWHUNTER.COM, a
website dedicated to bowhunters in New York State that offers tips,
techniques, product reviews and the latest news.
