The History of NYB
- Established as an
organization July 1991.
- First Rendezvous held at
Creekside Gun Shop in Bloomfield NY 1992.
- NYB membership reaches
4,000 members 1993
- First Banquet held in
Buffalo NY 1995
- Gained bowhunters in NYS
the use
of Deer Management Permits (DMP’s) during the southern zone early bow
season in 1995
- First Youth Camp held at
Turkey Trot Acres, Candor NY in the summer 1993.
- First Physically
Challenged hunt held in Savannah NY 1997.
- First Youth hunt held
outside of Syracuse NY fall 2002.
- Worked with local sportsman to establish an archery range
in Iraq for U.S. soldiers in 2004
